Note: All Eskape classes are “Custom-Private” for you or your group, available dates are whenever you can schedule them. We can accommodate your group of up to 6 paddlers, but typically run classes for 1 to 4 students.

Group Lessons: If you don’t have your own group and are looking to join in on group classes, we suggest contacting Monterey Bay Kayaks or California Canoe and Kayak or Sunrise Mountain Sports, all of which often employ ACA-Certified instructors and offer beginner group lessons most weekends.

But we’ve found over the years that most people learn much more–and much faster–via our Custom-Private classes.

As an ACA Instructor-Trainer Educator, Roger is one of the few instructors in the area, certified for assessing for Levels 1 through 4. This training should leave you well prepared for assessment in either (or both) the ACA or BCU systems.
